Thirty years. Three decades. Hundreds of gigs, from large stages to dusky crowded basements. Songs hemmed from stories etched into the shared history of the listener. Welcome to the music of Rob Ashley.

Rob's music slips between genres from Americana and alt-country to college-radio 90's alternative to Stones-esque rock and roll. Drawing from the influence of Paul Westerberg, Warren Zevon and Jeff Tweedy,  Rob's songs bring vivid characters and dizzying stories to life in every note.

Throughout his career, Rob has played with a variety of acts in many capacities. These acts have shared the spotlight with a variety of acts like Motley Crue, The Tubes, Blue Oyster Cult, Foghat, and others. Award nominations from the Hartford Advocate/Connecticut Music Awards came as well. His first solo album Premiere. Farewell received critical acclaim, airplay on more than 40 radio stations nationwide, and a strong position on College Radio Charts.

Presently, Rob is touring in support of his sophmore release, Northeastern Syncope, which was released in January 2020.
